Job summary

Poundland in Belfast is seeking a Sales Assistant to be our brand ambassador on the shop floor, delivering friendly, top‑class service while keeping the store stocked.

You’ll help with deliveries, ensure tills run smoothly, maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming environment, and grow through in‑store training and development.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not essential.
• Attention to detail, especially on tills and in cash handling.
• Organised approach and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store stocked and tidy to ensure a great shopping experience.
• Deliver fantastic customer service at the till and on the shop floor.
• Support deliveries and stock replenishment throughout shifts.

About The Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
