Job summary

Poundland is looking for a Sales Assistant to be a friendly brand ambassador on the shop floor. You’ll help create a great shopping experience, keep the store stocked, and support deliveries while ensuring tills run smoothly and the environment is tidy and welcoming.

Training will be provided to help you grow, with opportunities to progress into more senior roles. A positive, energetic, and customer-focused approach is valued in our inclusive store team.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential.
• Organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills.
• Friendly, can-do attitude and willingness to learn in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store stocked and welcoming for customers.
• Provide excellent customer service at the shop floor and at the tills.

About The Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
