Job summary

Poundland is looking for a Sales Assistant to be a friendly brand ambassador on the shop floor. You’ll help keep the store stocked, deliver excellent customer service, support deliveries and ensure tills run smoothly while the environment remains safe and welcoming.

A can-do, friendly approach in a team environment is essential. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided to get you up to speed and you’ll be a key part of our success.

About The Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
