Job summary

Poundland is seeking a Seasonal Sales Assistant to brighten the festive shopping season. You’ll help on the shop floor, keep shelves stocked, assist customers, support deliveries, and ensure the tills run smoothly in a cheerful store environment.

No previous retail experience is required, but a friendly, can-do attitude and good organisation help. Training is provided, and shifts will vary to cover our busy period through December.

About the Role

Join us at Poundland during this festive period as a Seasonal Sales Assistant and help make the most magical shopping season of the year even brighter for our customers.

As one of Poundland's Elves on the shop floor, you’ll be a festive ambassador for our brand, creating a warm, welcoming, and merry shopping experience every day.

You’ll be part of a friendly and energetic team, keeping shelves stocked with all those essential items, delivering fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, ensuring the checkouts run smoothly, and helping maintain a safe, tidy, and cheerful store environment.

We're looking for team players with a positive, can-do attitude and a friendly approach. Good organisation and attention to detail, especially when working on the tills, are essential. Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus, but not a requirement. We’ll provide all the training you need to help you shine, because every member of our team plays an important part in making this, the most wonderful time of the year, a success.

This role will start soon and last until the end of December, and we may require you to work different shifts based on store needs, therefore flexibility is key.
