Job Title: Sales and Events Manager

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Sales and Events Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities related to event sales, planning, and execution. Responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, developing sales strategies, coordinating with suppliers, overseeing event setup and delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role requires close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless event experiences.

Compensation

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + OTE

Skills and Experience

1. Previous experience within a sales and events team
2. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets in an events background
3. Experience in a similar role within high-end hospitality or event catering
4. Experience working at unique and historic venues within London
5. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills (Fluent English)
6. Detail-oriented with strong event planning and management experience
7. Strong venue/event sales experience, ideally from a corporate background
8. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
9. Experience managing budgets and financial reporting
10. Confidence in creating and delivering proactive sales strategies
11. Use of proactive sales strategies and marketing assets to attract new clients and grow the business
12. Attending industry events to build relationships with venues and clients
13. Understanding of current market and industry trends
14. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
