Job summary

MINSTER, part of Stark UK, invites applications for a Sales Advisor at the Dagenham branch. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, upselling, and delivering excellent service in a busy environment.

You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide product guidance while representing the company ethos of decency and pride. The position is based on-site with standard hours 7:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with returning customers
• Confidence in upselling and cross-selling to meet sales targets
• Ability to understand customer needs and respond professionally
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort with using IT equipment and telephone communication

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with new and existing customers to understand needs
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to meet targets
• Learn about suppliers and industry to improve product knowledge
• Prepare quotations and negotiate terms with clients
• Ensure orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately
• Support company initiatives and deliver a great customer experience
