Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor for a 4-hour contract to join our retail team. You will work with an energetic team, engaging with customers and delivering an excellent in-store experience.

For over 30 years, Saltrock has been a British coastal lifestyle brand known for its iconic prints and vibrant store atmosphere. You’ll help achieve sales targets, maintain a welcoming store, feed customers with product information, and assist with merchandising and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Good communication and product knowledge.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for product and brand to achieve sales targets.
• Deliver a positive in-store experience for customers.
• Maintain high store housekeeping for safety and cleanliness.
• Provide product information, features, and stock status.
• Support markdowns and price changes within guidelines.
• Keep product tidy and replenish as needed.
• Assist merchandising according to guidelines.
• Process deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture
• A passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
