Job summary

Saltrock Outlets in Wakefield is recruiting a Sales Advisor on a 4-hour contract to join our Retail team. You will engage with customers, share our coastal story and help deliver an outstanding in-store experience that reflects our brand.

You will help achieve sales targets by processing transactions with care, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, keep the store clean, feed customers with product information, assist with markdowns, merchandising and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Warm and friendly manner that fits Saltrock culture.
• Passion for selling and interacting with customers.
• Strong visual merchandising awareness.
• Competent till operations and cash handling.
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Ensure customers have a positive, welcoming store experience.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a healthy and safe store.
• Provide information about product features and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdown/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep products tidy, presented, and replenished as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines and assist with deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic
team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering
an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales
  targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while
  processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive
  experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard
  the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our
  customers with information about our product including features and benefits
  and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy
  and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with
  our guidelines
• Process deliveries
