Job summary

Saltrock Southsea is seeking a friendly Sales Advisor to join our retail team on a 4 hour contract in Portsmouth. You will engage with customers, help them find products, and process sales transactions efficiently while maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.

You will feed customers with product knowledge, support merchandising guidelines, and assist with deliveries. Retail experience is desirable but not essential, and you’ll enjoy employee discounts and pro-rated holiday entitlements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to achieve sales targets with passion for the brand.
• Create a welcoming store environment and provide a great customer experience.

• Assist with markdowns/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and properly replenished.
• Support merchandising per guidelines and with deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You'll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture
• A passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
