Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor on an 8 hour contract to join our retail team. You will work with an energetic group, delivering an excellent in-store experience for customers and supporting day-to-day store operations.

You will help hit sales targets, demonstrate product passion, handle till transactions, and contribute to visual merchandising while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Warm and friendly manner
• Passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and cash/card handling
• Experience in retail would be desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensure customers have a positive experience in-store, creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a healthy and safe store
• Provide information about product features and benefits and stock availability to customers
• Assist with markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keep product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines
• Process deliveries
• Keyholder responsibilities and store operations

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You'll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

• Rest and relaxation are important, we offer above statutory holiday, 33 days per year (inc. bank holidays) and after 5 years on your journey you will be rewarded with an extra 2 days, all holiday is pro-rata for part time family members
