Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited is seeking a Sales Advisor in Lowestoft to support trade counter customers with informed product recommendations and a proactive sales approach. The role includes branch sales activity, calls to past customers, and warehouse duties in a full-time capacity.

The position offers a base salary of £26,695 with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package. A full UK driving licence is required, and weekend overtime may be available after training.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business.
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse.

Working Hours

This is a full-time permanent role - Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00. There is a potential to work Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm as overtime once trained.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience is essential.
• To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
