Job summary

Wolseley is hiring a Sales Assistant for Lowestoft (Plumb Centre). The role is 40 hours per week, full-time, Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 with potential Saturday overtime. Base salary £26,695 plus bonus and extensive benefits.

• Identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties including picking/packing and stock handling.

As a Sales Assistant based in Lowestoft you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude

• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business

• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers

• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer ordersand unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse

This is a full time permanent role - Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17.00pm. There is a potential to work Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm as overtime once trained
