Job summary

Saltrock Swanage is looking for a Sales Advisor on an 8 hour contract to join our coastal lifestyle brand’s in-store team. You’ll work with an energetic crew to deliver an engaging shopping experience and help customers find the perfect Saltrock pieces.

You\'ll handle till transactions, maintain a clean, welcoming store, and contribute to merchandising with a friendly approach. In return, you’ll enjoy holiday entitlement, uniform allowance and staff discounts on Saltrock products.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience within our store, making it inviting and welcoming.
• Maintain housekeeping to a high standard for a healthy and safe store.
• Provide information about product features and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdown/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising per guidelines.
• Process deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture
• A passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
