Aquamarine Chemicals is the main brand for Bayer-wood Technologies Ltd.We supply an extensive range of products to some of the biggest shipping names in the industry. We are looking for a well organised multi-tasker to join our small team on a permanent basis at our offices in Twyning.You will be supporting the sales handling enquiries via email and phone, raising quotes, orders and guiding customers through the order process. This is a busy role requiring great administrative skills, time management and attention to detail. Timely delivery scheduling of goods is a key aspect to the job.The successful candidate will be office based 5 days a week (open to full time or school hours).

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering and directing calls to the relevant department
  • Adding new customers to our CRM system
  • Qualifying new enquiries
  • Creating quotes and processing orders invoicing within the Sage 50 system and via phone and email.
  • Monitoring the production pipeline and flagging and potential issues
  • General office admin and supporting the Sales team

The ideal candidate will offer the following:

  • Excellent IT skills (Sage, Word, Excel etc) working to keep fluent and accessible systems.
  • A self-motivated person with great multi-tasking skills
  • Enthusiastic and a passion to learn
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to manage your own time and workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial
  • A key skill is to be confident and to enjoy talking and understanding our customers and their needs.

Experience requirements: Key skills as above and working in a chemicals or technical environment would be useful.
