An exciting opportunity for newly qualified GPs to join a caring team within the South Sefton Primary Care Network. The post holder will provide comprehensive patient care, demonstrating clinical expertise and decision-making skills. Flexibility in working hours is available, with some evening and weekend shifts required.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with South Sefton Primary Care Network, our GP Federation, South Sefton Primary Health Care Limited and our 19 constituent practices.
The post holder will be a caring, compassionate and committed newly qualified GP who will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holder will commit to demonstrating critical thinking in the safe clinical decision-making process. They will communicate and work collaboratively with the PCN team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing clinical leadership as required.
This service will work as part of the overall Enhanced Access Service. Some evening and weekend work will be required in line with the requirements of the PCN Enhanced Access Service specification.
The NHSE requirements of this scheme mandate that applicants must have qualified on or after 1 June 2023 and must not have had substantive employment within a GP practice.
There is complete flexibility about both the number of sessions and days successful postholders can choose to work.
