A primary care practice in Brierley Hill is seeking an enthusiastic salaried GP to join their team. AW Surgeries are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking salaried GP to join our team of GPs and staff from April 2026. We are looking to cover four-eight clinical sessions, which will include Monday and Friday and extended hours. The Post holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.

AW Surgeries have two surgeries based in Brierley Hill at Albion Street and Withymoor, Squires Court. We have a practice size of 17,000 patients. Our team consists of 7 GP partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 ANPs, 4 Nurses, 1 HCAs and a highly qualified and experienced Admin and reception team. As part of our Primary care network we also have working alongside us, Listening and Guidance, Podiatrist, Midwife and pharmacists.
We are a Teaching General Practice working with the University of Birmingham to train medical students from all clinical disciplines. We work closely with our 6 neighbouring practices as part of the Brierley Hill and Amblecote Primary Care Network.
Clinical responsibilities:
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
