Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Business Development Manager – Safety & Survey in the UK to drive hire and sales activity, grow the customer base, and expand market share. You will partner with Sales Directors, coordinate with product specialists, and support the training revenue stream across our safety and surveying portfolio.

The role requires strong sales and industry knowledge, willingness to travel nationwide, and the ability to build robust relationships with multiple teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hiring and selling product & services to end users.
• Experience in the rental industry and understands the complex sales cycles.
• Knowledge of a wide range of surveying equipment and user needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Directors to manage hire and sales activity for Safety & Survey.
• Drive growth to exceed hire and sales budgets and market demand.
• Develop routes to market with other Sunbelt Rentals units and increase customer engagement.
• Maintain strict sales pipeline using SuperOffice CRM aligned with KPIs.
• Work with product specialists to support sales processes for sector requirements.
• Provide internal and external training and support, expanding training revenue.
