Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a dynamic Works Manager to lead site operations in Peterhead on a high-profile rail and highway programme. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, ensure compliance with RAMS, drive Zero Harm, and coordinate subcontractors and direct workforce to hit critical milestones.

The role requires Sentinel PTS, a proven rail/highway track record, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to build client and stakeholder relationships on a fast-moving contract.

Qualifications

• Sentinel PTS card is required.
• Demonstrable rail and highway project experience.
• Evidence of strong leadership and site supervision.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advantageous knowledge of M&E works.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: champion H&S, RAMS adherence, Zero Harm.
• Site Leadership: run inductions, briefings, toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Operations & Logistics: manage plant, tools, materials, and logistics, control wastage.
• Quality & Reporting: maintain daily records and escalation reports.
• Team Development: brief supervisors and align with policy, conduct assessments.
• Planning: develop and monitor project programmes with site teams.
