Job summary

Randstad CPE partners with a leading international infrastructure group to appoint a dynamic Works Manager for a high‑profile site in Peterhead. The role demands safety leadership, relentless attention to programme milestones, and the ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams across rail and highway works.

You will manage subcontractors, drive RAMS compliance, deliver daily site records and briefings, and foster strong Client and Stakeholder relationships on a 31/08/2026–18/12/2026 contract.

Qualifications

• Sentinel PTS card is required.
• Demonstrable rail and highway experience.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary site teams.
• Outstanding HSEQ awareness with a Zero Harm mindset.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain Client/Stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills for fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: champion H&S legislation and RAMS adherence; promote Zero Harm.
• Site Leadership: deliver inductions, briefings, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Operations & Logistics: manage site plant, tools and materials; control wastage and environmental procedures.
• Quality & Reporting: maintain daily records, ensure reporting and investigations when needed.
• Team Development: brief and align supervisors with company policies; conduct assessments.
• Planning: collaborate with site teams to develop and adjust project programmes.
