Job summary

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is offering Level 2 – Care and Support roles in our Children’s Safe Accommodation in Ceredigion. These posts operate on a rota covering day and night shifts to support children with their needs.

You will join a dedicated team including a Registered Manager and Level 3 – Care and Support, promoting a child-centred approach. Welsh language fluency is encouraged, with funded lessons available if needed.

  • Experience in children's residential care or similar settings.
  • Welsh language proficiency or willingness to learn funded lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to children on a rota basis (day and night).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 – Care and Support within our Children’s Safe Accommodation provision in Ceredigion. These roles will work on a rota cover day and night shifts supporting the needs of the service. These roles will be a fundamental part of a wider team including a Registered Manager, Assistant Manager and Level 3 – Care and Support.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting a child centred approach to practice, have a solid career history in children’s residential care or similar care and support provision.

Whilst we are seeking Individuals with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. We welcome applications from non-Welsh speakers.
