Job summary

Guide Security Services Ltd in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated RVRC Operator to join our remote monitoring centre on a permanent basis. The role offers a structured 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, covering day and night shifts, and involvement in 24/7 nationwide security services for a diverse client base.

You will monitor CCTV, manage access, respond to alarms, and produce precise reports while collaborating with a professional team focused on service excellence.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA CCTV License (Level 2 in CCTV Operations) – Essential
• Must be 18 years or older – Essential
• Prior experience in CCTV monitoring in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations
• Self-starting attitude and ability to work independently
• Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
• Professionalism and accuracy in reporting, and customer service excellence

Responsibilities

• Manage access to client sites using Video Management Systems
• Monitor and respond to electronic alarm signals promptly and professionally
• Provide clear, courteous telephone communication with customers
• Liaise with emergency services when required following protocols
