Guide Security Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator for our Blackburn monitoring centre. The role operates on a 4 on/4 off pattern (42-hour week) covering day and night shifts, delivering 24/7 security services for a range of clients.

Ideal candidates will have CCTV monitoring experience, a valid SIA CCTV License Level 2, and a calm, decisive approach under pressure. We offer a competitive salary, overtime, and opportunities for progression within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Manage controlled access to client sites using Video Management Systems.
• Monitor and respond to electronic alarm signals promptly and professionally.
• Deliver excellent customer care through clear and courteous telephone communication.
• Liaise with emergency services when required, following operational protocols.
• Produce clear, accurate, and timely written reports.
• Work within a disciplined team environment focused on security and service excellence.

Salary Range: £26,666 (rising to £27,452 after successful completion of probation)
