Job summary

Animal Trust (UK) seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a non-clinical, client-facing Reception role at Failsworth Clinic. You will bridge client services and clinical teams, coordinate diaries, and support pharmacy processes to ensure a smooth client journey.

This 40-hour week role is non-clinical and ideal for RVNs with 2+ years' experience looking to apply nursing expertise in client care and patient support while supervising the client services team.

Qualifications

• RVN qualified with a minimum of two years’ experience.
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
• A calm, compassionate problem-solver.
• Enjoy working closely with clients and supporting clinical teams.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritise, and direct patients to the right team.
• Optimise appointment booking across multiple workstreams.
• Manage incoming chat queries with timely guidance.
• Provide friendly, professional phone support to owners.
• Assist with repeat prescription requests and dispensing.
• Maintain stock control and safety of the pharmacy area.
• Complete non-clinical tasks related to patient journeys.
• Address client queries to prevent escalation.
• Line management and leadership support of the client services team.
• Reception duties across face-to-face, digital, and telephone channels.
