Job summary

Animal Trust (UK) is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to transition into a non-clinical, client-facing Reception Veterinary Nurse role at Failsworth Clinic. You will bridge customer service and clinical teams, aiding triage, diary coordination, and pharmacy processes while supporting patient care in a busy, friendly environment.

Ideal candidates are RVNs with 2+ years’ experience who enjoy problem-solving, have excellent communication skills, and are passionate about delivering outstanding

Qualifications

• RVN qualified with a minimum of two years’ experience.
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
• A calm, compassionate problem-solver.
• Someone who enjoys working closely with clients and supporting clinical teams.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Triage support to assess and direct patients to the right team.
• Diary coordination to optimise appointment booking across workstreams.
• Client communication including chat guidance and information for pet owners.
• Call handling with friendly, professional support to clinic owners.
• Pharmacy support including repeat prescriptions and stock control.
• Administrative tasks related to patient journeys and debt management to meet KPIs.
• Address day-to-day client queries to prevent escalations into complaints.
• Provide line management and leadership support to the client services team.
• Reception duties as part of the client experience rota.
