Job summary

Carr's Billington Agriculture (Sales) Ltd. is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our APPLEBY Country Store on a part-time basis (26.5 hours per week).

You will organize the warehouse and yard, handle arrivals and despatches, and support the team to ensure excellent customer service and safety standards are maintained. The role requires Forklift Truck experience and a Full UK driving licence for van deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and yard operations.
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence to assist in van deliveries.
• Forklift truck qualification and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organise the warehouse and yard; manage arrivals and despatches of goods.
• Support team to achieve targets and maintain high customer service standards.
• Maintain Health, Safety and Environment procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
• Assist in customer enquiries and respond promptly to requests or problems.
• Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
