Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal stage of growth, seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

The company has already developed industry-leading software for several household names and is preparing for its next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They are looking for experienced developers who are excited about building innovative solutions. With unique business challenges and scale issues, they need problem solvers to address technical challenges.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in secure, scalable, and maintainable ways.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

They are pragmatic about choosing the best tools for the job and expect candidates to lead in building core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience operating large systems (following SRE principles)
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing large, complex applications using test-driven development
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is spread across the UK and abroad. While occasional meetings and socials are held, your day-to-day work will be from home.
