Ruby Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85K - SaaS

Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS startup that is at a pivotal growth stage and requires a Senior Ruby Developer to join the team.

The company has developed industry-leading software for well-known clients and is preparing for its next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They seek experienced developers passionate about building innovative solutions. The role involves tackling unique technical challenges related to business scale and complexity.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in building secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.

The tech stack primarily includes Rails, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team adopts a pragmatic approach, choosing the best tools for each problem and expects candidates to take a lead in developing core technologies across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience operating large systems with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using a test-driven approach
• Designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications
• Experience with image manipulation tools like OpenCV is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and abroad. While there are occasional meetings and social events, day-to-day work is from home.
