Job summary

Aviva plc in Leeds is hiring a RTA Non Portal Fast-Track Litigation Handler to manage claimant non-portal road traffic accident personal injury claims from instruction to settlement or litigation. The role expects strong negotiation and client-focused service in a supportive team environment.

You will work in our DLG Legal Services team, handling liability investigations, damages assessments, and progression of claims with attention to detail and excellent client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience handling non-portal RTA personal injury claims or claimant litigated personal injury cases.
• Strong knowledge of Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), and personal injury claims processes.
• Experience investigating liability and assessing both special and general damages.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to explain complex matters clearly.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining accuracy and high service standards.

• Manage a caseload of claimant non-portal RTA PI claims from instruction through to settlement or litigation.

RTA Non Portal Fast-Track Litigation Handler – Salary circa £40,000

This is a great job for someone has experience handling non-portal RTA personal injury claims and enjoys helping clients achieve the right outcome. A bit about the job:

You're will join our DLG Legal Services team, managing a caseload of claimant non-portal road traffic accident personal injury claims from instruction through to settlement or litigation. You'll investigate liability, assess damages, negotiate with third parties, and support clients through every stage of their claim. Your work will help deliver fair outcomes, excellent customer experiences, and efficient claim lifecycles. You'll play an important role in protecting our reputation for high-quality legal services while making sure clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
