Aviva is hiring a Motor Claims Handler in the United Kingdom. You will manage a portfolio of motor claims, investigate liability, assess information, negotiate settlements, and progress claims to resolution, delivering fair outcomes for customers and Aviva.

You will work with customers, third parties, legal representatives, suppliers and colleagues, balancing excellent customer service with technical decision‑making while ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in line with regulatory

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of motor claims, investigating liability, assessing information, negotiating settlements, and progressing claims through to resolution.

• Identify potential fraud or indemnity concerns and act within authority levels.

Motor Claims Handler

Salary - £28,000

A bit about the job:

As a Motor Claims Handler, you'll support our customers and third parties throughout their claims journey, helping to deliver fair and efficient outcomes when they need us most. You'll manage a portfolio of motor claims, investigating liability, assessing information, negotiating settlements, and progressing claims through to resolution. Working closely with customers, legal representatives, suppliers, and colleagues, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer experiences while ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

You’ll be responsible for managing customer interactions, assessing claims within your authority level, identifying potential fraud or indemnity concerns, and working with our legal panel and supplier network to achieve the best outcomes for both customers and Aviva.

• Starting salary of £28,000 (could get higher depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
