Job summary

RS Group in Newcastle is seeking a Branch Assistant to join our local team. Based in our RS Local Newcastle Branch, you will assist trade customers, help them find what they need and support stock control at the branch.

You will report to the Branch Manager, deliver friendly, high‑quality service, and help with warehouse tasks such as picking and packing. Full training provided and a can‑do attitude is essential.

If you are looking for rewarding opportunity and working as part of a supportive team, then this is the role for you. Based in our RS Local Newcastle Branch.

Working alongside our amazing branch teamyou will divide your time between communicating effectively with our trade customers at our branch to help them find just what they need and keeping on top of our stock and inventory. Full training will be provided, but a can-do attitude is all that it takes to succeed in this role.

What you will be doing:

As a Branch Assistant, you will be reporting directly to the Branch Manager.

Within the Branch, you will provide excellent customer service by helpingidentify our customers’ needs and requirements by building strong relationshipsand investigating and resolving customer issues from general and technical questions whilst advising on delivery options and dispatches.

You will also be responsible for some warehouse and stock management picking and packing activities.
