The Royal Naval School of Flight Deck Operations (RNSFDO) trains the Royal Navy’s Aircraft Handling Branch and other MoD personnel for flight deck operations and TAS Fire Station duties. It also delivers driver training and related courses to RN/RM personnel to support operational capabilities. The Driver Training Group (DTG), recognized as the RN’s Centre of Excellence for Driver Training, employs about 55 personnel to deliver these functions. The DeLTA Administrative Officer supports this delivery through administrative tasks within the group.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week, subject to security clearance (SC). It follows the school’s training calendar, with typical hours from 0800-1630 (1600 on Fridays). The role requires physical availability during training activities. Job share is only considered if hours are fully covered.
The DAO provides administrative support for RNAS Culdrose DeLTA and the delivery of the DTG SOTT. Responsibilities include working in a dynamic environment, engaging with stakeholders, and performing tasks such as:

Salary of £26,235 plus £7,600 Civil Service pension contribution.
