Job Details

A vacancy has arisen within Wessex Reserve Forces & Cadets Association for an Administrative Officer to support the County of Cornwall Army Cadet Force based in Bodmin.

The Wessex RFCA is an independent, not-for-profit organisation supporting 4,500 tri-service Reservists and 14,600 Cadets across the South West and Channel Islands. We promote understanding of the Armed Forces' roles and needs, raising awareness and celebrating the contributions of Reserve and Cadet Forces to the community.

Candidate Requirements
  • Good knowledge of military staff procedures and terminology (previous military service advantageous)
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS-Office; ECDL qualification or equivalent
Offer Details
  • Salary: £26,770 per annum
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • Annual leave: 25 days, rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service
  • Previous public sector service counts towards qualifying years
  • Eligible to join the RFCAs Pension Scheme (CARE scheme)
