Job summary

Mayflower Washroom Solutions in Swindon is seeking an organised Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our depot on a fixed-term contract. You will act as the link between Service Drivers and the Depot Manager, ensuring routes are planned and executed and customer expectations are met.

We offer a salary of £26,514–£28,500 for a 37.5-hour week, plus benefits such as Virtual GP, phsPerks, ILM training, 23 days holiday, pension and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating drivers, field-based teams, or service routes.
• Knowledge of fleet management and compliance processes.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Experience in operational/logistics or service-based environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support route planning to maximise productivity and achieve key operational KPIs.
• Coordinate daily service activities and ensure equipment, stock, and resources are available for route completion.
• Support fleet maintenance scheduling and compliance requirements.
• Ensure customer queries and service issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Monitor driver and vehicle performance, providing constructive feedback to the Depot Manager.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
