Job summary

Mayflower Washrooms in Swindon is seeking a capable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of stock.

You will support the Depot Manager in delivering excellent customer service and health & safety compliance while leading a small warehouse team. The role offers an opportunity to recruit, train and develop staff and to liaise with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution operations.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
• Attention to detail and computer literacy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock accuracy and inventory control processes.
• Supervise daily warehouse activities including goods, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Support stock ordering, replenishment and warehouse organisation.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and training of warehouse personnel.

• Conduct regular team briefings and training activities.
• Complete warehouse inspections and address corrective actions.

Warehouse Supervisor

£29,500 40hrs Permanent

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of stock. The role supports the Depot Manager in delivering excellent customer service, operational performance and health & safety compliance while leading and developing a small warehouse team.

The Warehouse Supervisor role at Mayflower Washrooms will involve:

The ideal candidate for Warehouse Supervisor at Mayflower Washrooms will have:

• Previous experience within warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes
• Strong attention to detail and computer literacy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
