Job summary

Colbern Limited in Northampton is seeking an experienced Rough Sleep Support Worker to provide outreach and housing-related support to rough sleepers identified in North Northamptonshire. You will work on-site five days a week, deliver timely, person-centred interventions, and collaborate with partner agencies to prevent homelessness.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in housing or care related roles.
• Ability to engage and support vulnerable clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of housing and homelessness issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide street outreach and support to rough sleepers as needed.
• Engage, build trust and motivate clients to access housing and support.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary interventions with partners.
• Provide housing-related support to former rough sleepers.
• Maintain accurate case files and records using IT systems.
• Work across North Northamptonshire with statutory and voluntary partners.
