Job summary

North Northamptonshire Council is seeking a Rough Sleep Support Worker to join the Rough Sleeping Service on a 3 Month Contract. The role is office based, across the county, with 5 days a week and enhanced DBS required. A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential.

The post involves street outreach, housing-related support, and safeguarding within a dynamic multi-agency setting. Successful candidates will manage caseloads, support move-on into accommodation, and work

Responsibilities

• Deliver an intelligence-led street outreach service across North Northamptonshire.
• Identify and engage rough sleepers; build trusted relationships.
• Develop Personalised Housing Plans and support access to accommodation.
• Complete needs assessments and support plans; manage caseloads.
• Coordinate safeguarding and multi-agency interventions.
