Job summary

North Northamptonshire Council is seeking an experienced Rough Sleep Support Worker to join its Rough Sleeping Service. The role involves street outreach, housing-related support, homelessness prevention, and multi-agency interventions across North Northamptonshire.

This is a full-time, 3-month contract, office-based with occasional outside-hours outreach. Enhanced DBS, a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required to support vulnerable individuals.

• Street Outreach & Engagement: deliver outreach services, engage rough sleepers, build trust, coordinate interventions.
• Housing & Homelessness Support: help access accommodation, develop Personalised Housing Plans, prevent repeat homelessness.
• Case Management & Support Planning: complete needs assessments and support plans, manage caseloads, maintain records.
• Multi-Agency Working: collaborate with Adult Social Care, health services, housing providers; attend case conferences.
• Service Development: support annual counts and SWEP responses; advocate for rough sleepers and partnerships.
