Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Rotational Radiographer with an interest in Dental Imaging to join the North East Sector Imaging team across Glasgow sites. The role offers development of specialist dental imaging skills while maintaining broad radiographic competencies in a large acute teaching environment.

Applicants must be HCPC registered radiographers with post‑registration experience and a commitment to lifelong learning, teamwork, and delivering high‑quality patient

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or DCR with HCPC registration.
• Post-registration radiography experience and ability to apply theory to practice.
• Experience in dental radiography and interest in developing dental imaging skills.
• CPD ongoing commitment and lifelong learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; capable of 24/7 service.

Responsibilities

• Perform and justify a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations with high care and image quality.
• Deliver dental imaging including intra-oral, OPT and iCAT procedures.
• Assess patient needs and adapt imaging techniques for diverse requirements.
• Support supervision and teaching of Radiography and Dental students.
• Contribute to service delivery through rotational working across sites.
• Maintain radiation protection compliance and quality assurance standards.
• Provide leadership and support workload coordination when required.
