Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) invites applications for a Rotational Radiographer with an Interest in Dental Imaging. The post covers Glasgow Dental Hospital, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and other NHSGGC sites, offering development in dental imaging within a large teaching hospital.

The role involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, supervising students, and contributing to service delivery across sites with a commitment to professional development and patient care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or DCR qualification with HCPC registration
• Post-registration clinical radiography experience
• Experience in dental radiography and interest in dental imaging
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to support students and colleagues
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
• Flexible, team-focused, and able to work across a 24/7 service

Responsibilities

• Perform and justify a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations with high patient care standards
• Deliver dental imaging including intra-oral, OPT and iCAT procedures
• Adapt imaging techniques to meet patients' varying needs
• Support supervision and teaching of Radiography and Dental students
• Contribute to service delivery across acute and specialist areas via rotational work
• Maintain radiation protection regulations and QA standards
• Provide leadership and assist with workload coordination when required
