NHS Jobs is seeking a Rotational Occupational Therapist (Band 5) to join an NHS trust in England. You must have a degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration, or be eligible within 3 months.

The role covers broad clinical work including assessments, planning and delivering therapy in line with policies and MDT colleagues. You will participate in professional development, supervision, and a department-wide appraisal.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration, or eligibility within 3 months.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work within professional guidelines and policies.

Responsabilités

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and MDT regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate records in line with standards and policies.
• Gather and disseminate information where appropriate.
• Manage potentially stressful, upsetting or emotional situations empathetically.
• Carry out assessment and formulate treatment plans using clinical reasoning.
• Supervise students or therapy assistants where applicable.
• Participate in professional development and appraisal processes.
• Input clinical information accurately onto IT systems.
• Participate in weekend service on a rota basis.
