Job summary

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Watford is seeking a Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join the Inpatient Therapies team. You will work across multiple rotations including Stroke, Care of the Elderly, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics and Emergency Medicine.

The role supports professional development with supervision, in-service training, and study leave, with a seven-day service pattern and weekend work approximately every 4-6 weeks.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
• Current registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development and reflective practice.
• Membership of RCOT.
• Knowledge of NHS discharge pathways in the acute hospital setting.
• Experience in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating OT treatment programmes.
• Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience of managing and prioritising a clinical caseload.
