Job summary

Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Rotational Occupational Therapist to join our acute hospital services. Rotations span Stroke, Frailty, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Care of the Elderly, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Surgery including amputees, across both sites.

We welcome newly qualified and experienced therapists, with opportunities for Return to Practice. A band 5 preceptorship and in-house training scheme support your development throughout rotations.

Qualifications

• Rotation-based occupational therapy roles across multiple specialties.
• Return to Practice opportunities and support plans available.
• Band 5 preceptorship and in-house training schemes provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic occupational therapy assessments and interventions across acute hospital sites.
• Work within rotations including Stroke, Frailty, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Care of the Elderly, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Surgery.
• Collaborate with MDT colleagues and supervisors to develop independent practice.
