Working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.

Working Pattern

  • 5-day week, 8-hour shifts between 7am & 10pm. 1 in 4 weekends alternating between early and late shifts with TOIL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively and with passion and contribute to the strong clinical team to deliver high quality clinical and client care across the hospital.
  • Work with clinicians, nurses and owners, to provide hospitalised patients with the highest standard of individualised patient care
  • Ensure the hospitalisation facilities and equipment are cleaned and properly maintained in line with the infection control policy and all consumables are organised and well stocked.
  • Be a proactive and reliable team member in supporting the nurses and services.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...

You are a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to develop within a veterinary environment. You’ll bring:

  • Animal Care qualifications are desirable, however in their absence considerable experience in animal handling and husbandry will be considered with equal merit
  • Experience working with animals is essential, ideally with some experience working in a clinical environment
