inspiring vet care in the West Midlands near Birmingham is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time permanent basis. The role focuses on back-of-house tasks, cleaning, and equipment preparation while supporting the clinical team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Manor Vetson a part-time permanent basis.
We are located in the West Midlands on the outskirts of Birmingham. All branches have great transport links into Birmingham city centre. We are also very lucky to have some beautiful rural areas near too such as Kinver, Clent Hills and the Lickey Hills. Manor Vets has 6 branches in and around the Birmingham area.
Between our surgeries, we offer a CT scanning, digital x-ray, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, endoscopy, ECG and in house haematology, biochemistry, and blood gases.
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely.
Working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.
This role is for back of house and involves cleaning the practice, preparing equipment and consulting rooms and supporting the rest of the team.Although this role is within the veterinary practice it is not a ‘hands on’ animal role.
