inspiring vet care seeks a Daytime Emergency Nurse to join Blaise Veterinary Referrals in Birmingham. You will deliver advanced nursing care in a busy emergency setting, with ICU inpatient care and isolation wards, supporting clinical decisions within a large team.
We require RCVS registration and strong communication, with a commitment to evidence-based practice. The role offers 40 hours per week, 4 on/4 off shifts, including weekends.

Located in Longbridge, Birmingham, our veterinary hospital is one of the largest multidisciplinary referral hospitals in the UK. With state-of-the-art equipment to treat up to 10,000 pets a year, our brilliant team provide the very best veterinary care and support to clients, pets and referring vets.
Our veterinary referral services include Anaesthesia & Analgesia, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, ECC, Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopaedics and Soft Tissue Surgery.
At Blaise, we have a specialist-led 24-hour emergency and critical care service in partnership with Vets Now, providing out-of-hours and emergency pet care for Birmingham and surrounding areas.
As a Daytime Emergency Nurse, you will deliver advanced nursing care within our busy emergency service, supporting the management of complex cases within an emergency setting.
You’ll work collaboratively within a large team, contributing specialist nursing expertise to patient care, supporting clinical decision-making, and sharing knowledge with colleagues to continually improve standards within your discipline.
This role will give you the opportunity to deal with a wide range of emergency and critical care cases and monitor patients from our referral services.
