VC Evidensia UK is seeking an Out of Hours Veterinary Nurse to join the team at Blaise Veterinary Referral Hospital in Birmingham. This full-time role involves delivering advanced nursing care and managing complex emergency cases within our OOHs service, following a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

With state of the art equipment to treat up to 10,000 pets a year, our brilliant team provide the very best veterinary care and support to clients, pets and referring vets. Our veterinary referral services include Anaesthesia & Analgesia, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, ECC, Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopaedics & Soft Tissue Surgery.
At Blaise, we have a specialist-led 24-hour emergency and critical care service in partnership with Vets Now, providing out of hours and emergency pet care for Birmingham and surrounding areas.
As an Out of Hours Veterinary Nurse, you will deliver advanced nursing care within our busy OOHs service, supporting the management of complex cases within an emergency setting.
You’ll work collaboratively within a large team, contributing specialist nursing expertise to patient care, supporting clinical decision-making, and sharing knowledge with colleagues to continually improve standards within your discipline.
This role will give you the opportunity to deal with a wide range of emergency and critical care cases andmonitor patients from our referral services. Your role will include:
