Job summary

Linnaeus invites applications for a Rotating Internship, offering hands-on experience across multiple veterinary disciplines within the UK’s largest Specialist-led referral network.

You’ll gain exposure to internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, imaging, oncology, emergency care and more, with dedicated mentoring, seminars and a year-long research training course. The programme includes 1:1 mentoring and structured induction to set you up for success.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration is required.
• 1–2 years of small animal practice experience.
• Completed the RCVS VetGDP or are exempt.
• UK work eligibility and visa sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Rotating across disciplines: internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, oncology, emergency/critical care, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dentistry.
• Hands-on involvement with world-renowned Specialist teams and direct access to diagnostics, surgery, and patient care.

We are looking for Vets who:

• Are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience in a small animal practice
• Have completed their RCVS Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP) or are exempt from the RCVS VetGDP - We will not be able to accept your application if you have not completed your RCVS VetGDP or are not close to completion or are not exempt.
