Job summary

Linnaeus Group invites applications for a Rotating Veterinary Internship. You will gain hands-on experience across internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, imaging, oncology, emergency care, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology and dentistry while rotating through leading referral hospitals in the UK.

You will access 1:1 mentoring, regular check-ins with the Internship Director, a tailored teaching programme, and a year-long research training course, with strong pathways into residencies and

Qualifications

• Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• 1–2 years of experience in a small animal practice.
• Completed RCVS Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP) or exempt from VetGDP.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on involvement in diagnostics, surgery, and patient care from day one.
• Mentoring and structured supervision from Internship Director and Linnaeus team.
• Participation in multidisciplinary training and career development activities.

We are looking for Vets who:

• Are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
• Have at least 1–2 years of experience in a small animal practice
• Have completed their RCVS Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP) or are exempt from the RCVS VetGDP - We will not be able to accept your application if you have not completed your RCVS VetGDP or are not close to completion or are not exempt.
