Job summary

Linnaeus is offering a Rotating Internship across our extensive veterinary network in the UK. You will rotate through a range of disciplines with direct access to multi-disciplinary Specialist teams, gaining hands-on experience in diagnostics, surgery and patient care from day one.

You will receive 1:1 mentoring, regular progress checks, and a comprehensive induction designed to set you up for success, with opportunities to pursue residency or academic pathways and CertAVP enrollment.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a small animal practice.
• Completed the RCVS VetGDP or are exempt from VetGDP.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across multiple veterinary disciplines from day one (medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, imaging, oncology, emergency care, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dentistry).
• Receive hands-on diagnostics, surgery and patient care with direct access to multidisciplinary Specialist teams.
• Benefit from 1:1 mentoring, regular checks with Internship Director, and a structured induction for success.

We are looking for Vets who:

• Are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
• Have at least 1–2 years of experience in a small animal practice
• Have completed their RCVS Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP) or are exempt from the RCVS VetGDP - We will not be able to accept your application if you have not completed your RCVS VetGDP or are not close to completion or are not exempt.
