Job summary

Linnaeus in the United Kingdom offers a Rotating Internship designed to develop veterinary careers through diverse clinical exposure and structured mentoring. You’ll rotate across a broad range of disciplines, gaining hands-on experience in diagnostics and treatment from day one.

The programme provides access to a large network of specialist referral hospitals, with ongoing support, teaching, and opportunities for research, residencies, and further career pathways.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration is required to practice.
• 1-2 years of experience in a small animal practice.
• VetGDP completed or exemption required.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across disciplines including internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, imaging, oncology, emergency and critical care, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology and dentistry.
• Gain hands-on experience and direct involvement in diagnostics, surgery and patient care from day one.
• Participate in mentoring, workshops, research training and career development activities.

We are looking for Vets who:

• Are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience in a small animal practice
• Have completed their RCVS Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP) or are exempt from the RCVS VetGDP - We will not be able to accept your application if you have not completed your RCVS VetGDP or are not close to completion or are not exempt.
